Surprise yourself with all the answers you're looking for in the big, powerful, colorful, and challenging paintings of Jason Hanson.

So much of Jason’s art is not for them. Their purpose in life is to translate source into form. Often it is not until someone sees the work that Jason knows why they were called to paint it. They’re committed to getting more of their art out to more people, as they knows there are messages in each piece for people to receive.

It is not uncommon for people to have big responses when viewing their work in person, including joy, anger, rage, sexual arousal, sadness, or bursting into tears. There are answers waiting to be found in the brush strokes that they are compelled to create.

They were recently asked about why they continue to paint big even though the cost and logistics are much more complex. Their answer came easefully and immediately - “because I had a dream about what to paint, I know I will die if I don’t get it out of me.”
