Queer people have always existed, yet over the course of history have been systematically denied opportunities, safety, and the freedom to love freely. The Urban Arts Gallery’s annual celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, “SLC Queer”, celebrates the lives, freedom, and culture that queer folk have beautifully and fiercely cultivated. In honor of pride month, queer artists are invited to share their work and express their individual identities, stories, and love.
